tall case clock
Late 18th century; New England (possibly New Hampshire)
The case is constructed of birch. Original mahoganized finish had been removed in a previous restoration and fretwork aded to the bonnet was incorrect for the style/period of the clock. HCS restored the fretwork on the bonnet to an appropriate style and reapplied the finish to imitate the appearance of mahogany.
