Humidified and pressed to flatten the object as possible. Dry surfaced cleaned the verso and recto edges to reduce grime as possible. Reduced accretions mechanically. Set down lifting areas of paper, mended tears and reinforced weakened, tenting creases. Selectively inpainted losses to minimize their appearance. Several digital reproductions of the original image were made for the client to give to other family members.
